Some individuals — children and adults — rely primarily on non-speaking methods of communication for a variety of reasons including autism, cerebral palsy, apraxia/dyspraxia, learning difficulties, and selective mutism. How can the church best engage with those with limited verbal communication so that they are using their gifts to be active and valued members of the Body of Christ?
