Every child deserves to feel safe, seen and supported in ministry — but many kids come to us feeling hurt, lonely and misunderstood. In this month's roundtable, we'll be joined by Kim Botto, an expert on creating environments of belonging for kids who have experienced trauma or who are neurodivergent. We'll explore strategies for connection, regulation and rethinking discipline to better support every child's unique needs.
A Key Ministry Disability Ministry Virtual Roundtable is an interactive, online gathering designed to equip and connect disability ministry leaders, church staff, and volunteers. These roundtables provide a space for collaborative discussion, idea-sharing, and problem-solving around key topics related to welcoming and including individuals and families impacted by disability in the church.
Each session features a focused theme, guided discussion, and opportunities for participants to ask questions, share insights, and learn from experienced ministry leaders and peers. Whether addressing practical strategies, theological perspectives, or innovative ministry approaches, the goal of the roundtable is to foster community, encourage best practices, and support churches in their mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ by ensuring accessibility and belonging for all.
