@AACAP The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry seeks to promote the healthy development of children, adolescents, and families through advocacy, education, and research, and to meet the professional needs of child and adolescent psychiatrists throughout their careers. AACAP has developed resource centers with consumer-friendly definitions, answers to frequently asked questions, clinical resources and expert videos relevant to mental health conditions commonly experienced by children and teens. AACAP also provides Facts for Families - concise and up-to-date information on issues that affect children, teenagers, and their families.
@Active_Minds Active Minds is the leading nonprofit organization that addresses mental health concerns in college students. By developing and supporting student-run chapters dedicated to mental health awareness, education, and advocacy group on campuses nationwide Active Minds works to increase students’ awareness of mental health issues. They provide information and resources regarding mental health and mental illness, encourage students to seek help as soon as it is needed, and serves as a liaison between students and the mental health community.

Information about common mental disorders is offered, including symptoms, risk factors and treatment options. Healthy Minds offers answers to common questions written by leading psychiatrists, stories from people living with mental illness and links to additional resources.
@ChildMindDotOrg The Child Mind Institute is an independent, national nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families struggling with mental health and learning disorders. Their team regularly produces excellent articles providing useful, accurate information that empowers families to get help for their children.
@NAMICommunicate The National Alliance on Mental Illness is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI is an association of hundreds of local affiliates, state organizations and volunteers who work to raise awareness and provide mental health support and education that was not previously available to those in need. NAMI FaithNet is an interfaith resource network of NAMI members, friends, clergy and congregations of all faith traditions who wish to encourage faith communities who are welcoming and supportive of persons and families living with mental illness.
